These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of this website and outline the basic principles that apply when you engage with Astrum Ventures LLC, trading as Steve The App Guy (“we”, “us”). By using the site, applying through it, or entering into any working relationship with us, you agree to these Terms.
This site is provided for informational purposes and to allow creators and partners to apply to work with us. Content on the site is provided as-is, without warranty. We may update or change the site, our offering, or these Terms at any time without notice.
Any actual partnership — including app builds, equity arrangements, revenue shares, or referral agreements — is governed by a separate signed agreement. Submitting an application or message through this site does not create a contract or any obligation on either party.
Whether or not a formal NDA or contract has been signed, we treat the information, ideas, content, audience data, and other intellectual property you share with us as confidential. Specifically:
We work with creators across many industries and verticals. Engaging us to build an app in a particular niche (for example: fitness, finance, beauty, gaming, education, mindfulness, food, etc.) does not grant you exclusivity over that niche, and does not prevent us from working on other apps, products, software, or businesses in the same niche, including with other creators or partners, before, during, or after our engagement with you.
To make this concrete: if we partner with a creator in the fitness industry, we remain free to build other fitness apps with other creators or for our own portfolio. There is no implied non-compete and we do not grant category exclusivity unless it is explicitly written into a signed agreement.
What we do commit to is the confidentiality and IP protection described above: nothing specific to your project — your ideas, your IP, your audience data, your strategies — will be carried across into any other project we work on. The category may overlap; your work product, your information, and your intellectual property will not.
The site, its design, copy, branding, and underlying code are owned by Astrum Ventures LLC. You may not copy, scrape, redistribute, or repurpose them without written permission.
You agree not to misuse the site — including by attempting to gain unauthorised access, submitting false or misleading information, scraping content, sending spam through our forms, or using the site to violate any law.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site. Our total liability connected to your use of the site is limited to the greater of (a) AUD $100 or (b) the amount you have paid us in the previous twelve months, which for most site visitors is zero.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes arising out of or connected to these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, unless we both agree otherwise in writing.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
